Expert and passionate project manager with museum and nonprofit management experience and PMP certification. Proficient at developing and producing complex technical projects, working with large or small teams, while managing stakeholders, resources, and scope. A leader who values quality and performance measured by high ethical and egalitarian standards.

Founder and Board President of Empowerment Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that produces narrative films for cultural and educational influence.  

Writer/Producer/Director/Cinematographer of the organization’s first feature film, “A Paper Tiger Burns” in Colombia, South America and USA locations (2017)

AV Infrastructure and Media Arts Project Manager, Denver Botanic Gardens – Gavin was brought to Denver Botanic Gardens in 2014 during the construction of the new Science Pyramid. He was given the responsibility of bringing the Gardens’ interpretation of research into the mediums of digital interactives for the exhibit, and has since transitioned into a larger role in IT to provide services to all departments. In 2016 Gavin attained PMI certification as a Project Management Professional, and has formed a project management office at the Gardens and integrated new strategy and structure for Operations and IT services. He has a B.A. in Film Production and extensive nonprofit management experience. He also previously worked at the Saint Louis Science Center for 5 years before joining the Gardens.
